Drives Sales
• Contribute to store sales goals by selling furniture, accessories and services offered by La‐Z‐Boy
• Team with Store Manager, Sales Manager, Designer, and Associates to promote the Design program and drive overall store sales
• Assist the Designer to achieve established Design program sales goals
• Consistently execute the La‐Z‐Boy selling process and strive to provide a favorable experience to all customers.
• Develop and utilize sales skills and principals including approach, rapport building, needs discovery, customized portfolio presentations, answering objections, closing, follow‐up, after sale service and continuing contact with all previous and potential customers
• Maximize store promotions, marketing initiatives, and grassroots programs
• Maintain strong knowledge of features and benefits of existing and new product line
• Meet or exceed established goals as set by management
Design Program
• Schedule professional home consultations to present customized room designs, including sample fabrics, furniture, tables and accessory recommendations as well as the benefits of a professional installation service.
• Execute and champion the Design process per company guidelines
• Responsible to support design related functions in the store
Customer Focus
• Provide the highest level of customer service to all current and future customers
• Ensure that each La‐Z‐Boy customer has an informative and positive experience by using good customer service skills and knowledge of products, while following the company selling process
• Effectively use Podium to ensure customer satisfaction and future follow‐up
• Make sound business decisions to deliver customer satisfaction and promote team environment
• Provide store support to incoming phone calls and emails

Key Responsibilities
• Ability to process units into warehouse
• Ability to pickup units at the cells – driving tugger
• Ability to load trucks using load sheets – with either hand dolly and/or Furniture Mover
• Ability to follow warehouse work instructions
• Ability to read production tickets
• Performs Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) checks daily on the motorized equipment (tugger) assigned.
• End of shift 5S responsibilities.
• Ability to work cooperative with other tugger teammates to ensure efficiencies for the Cell Team Members.
• Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required
Minimum Job Requirments
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Ability to drive a motorized vehicle.
• Ability to use an ipad for reading and coordinating next work in process procedures.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks using knees, legs, arms, elbows, and wrists.
• Ability to perform movement by bending, kneeling, walking, stepping up and ability to push or pull 50 lbs.
• Ability to read dispatches on paper and ipad/computer.

Overview
The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician is responsible for safely providing predictive, preventative, and emergency mechanical and electrical maintenance services for production and infrastructure systems as necessary to maintain process efficiency for the La-Z-Boy Newton campus.

MINIMIUM REQUIREMENTS:
• High School diploma or GED.
• Certification or equivalent training and experience of 18 months

• Has knowledge, training, 1-3 years’ experience, and be able to demonstrate a working understanding of the following-

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents including diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, schematics, or ladder logic diagrams.

• Oversees the development of the monthly RDC inbound/outbound unit forecast and inventory projections. Collaborates with the RDC management team to communicate changes and confirm capacity availability.
• Provides leadership to the team through consistent feedback, coaching and development to assure that each team member has access to all resources needed to be successful in the organization.
• Promotes a culture of continuous improvement that yields improvement in key metrics (forecast accuracy, forecast bias, inventory turns, speed to customer, and RDC fill rates).
• Directs the development of a balanced cover procurement plan of fabric roll purchases for internal cut/sew operations and fabric pre-sewn set purchases that maximize internal production and support commitments to external cut/sew suppliers while meeting company cost and inventory objectives. Responsible for developing and presenting the cost and inventory metrics related to planning scenarios for approval.
• Responsible for modeling the monthly total Residential inventory forecast through the AOP horizon.
• Responsible for managing the configuration and data integrity of the supply chain planning system for demand and inventory planning.
• Develops relationships with sales, merchandising and marketing that provide consistent and meaningful two-way communication that enables the demand planning team to establish the most accurate forecasts.
• Collaborates with the Retail Division to identify retail strategy and merchandising changes and integrate into the overall demand plan and production plan.

• Hires, trains and retains the highest quality team members who exhibit energy and enthusiasm
• Coaches to the Company selling model with the passion to drive real action
• Uses the Company metrics to coach the proper behaviors needed to be a world class selling organization
• Create an environment where the store team is empowered to deliver excellent customer service aligned with company processes and standards and where they are encouraged to achieve company goals
People Development:
• Train, coach and develop selling team on product knowledge and selling skills to achieve store sales goals
• Create a positive and exciting working environment for all store associates
• Hiring and developing talent, and succession planning; and leveraging the capabilities of new and existing talent
• Utilizes Company resources to keep associates up to date on product knowledge, selling skills and operational efficiencies
• Leads with the highest ethical standards and demands the same from their teams
• Ensures associates are provided the necessary tools to perform job responsibilities
• Coach and counsel team based on results including completing performance reviews
Store Standards / Operations:
Effective Manager on Duty (MOD)
• Champion and role model the La-Z-Boy selling process (Comfort Process) by overseeing the interaction with each and every client within the furniture gallery
• Know what is happening on the floor at all times. Be willing and able to jump into every sale and close it
• Show a sense urgency, enthusiasm and excitement with the staff and customers
Operational Excellence
• Adhere to operational procedures and guidelines outlined by the Company and other duties assigned by the Store Manager
• Accurately complete order information, collect deposits and fees, keep orderly customer records, and research customer payments and deliveries
• Responsible for opening and closing of the store
• Maintain store cleanliness, appearance, and standards. This includes, but is not limited to, maintenance of showroom displays, tagging, and facilities
Customer Experience Excellence:
• Sets the highest standard for customer care
• Ensure that each La-Z-Boy customer has an informative and positive experience by using good customer service skills, knowledge of products and services and product demonstrations
• Make sound business decisions to deliver customer satisfaction and promote team environment
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field is preferred.
• Three (3) to five (5) years sales experience with a proven track record of success is preferred
• Previous supervisory experience is a preferred
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
